Internet Find

I was jumping around the Internet yesterday clicking through some of my favorite blogs and shops. Found this blog by Philip Hoare. He is acting as the foreign correspondent for the shop Rogue's Gallery. Hoare is a writer of a new book called The Whale (please no comments about The HUMP restaurant in Santa Monica. I am sad it's closing even though they served whale)

Anyway...On his blog he posted wonderful photos from acclaimed National Geographic photographer Sam Abell. I love the shots of Newfoundland and the fisherman. It makes me miss New England.

I found this etsy site called Opal Grove. Super cool vintage food prints from the 1920's "Encyclopedia of Food" by Artemas Ward. Awesome to frame and use in a kitchen.
