Happy and Healthy New Year to all my friends out there... It was a fun filled holiday with family out here in LA. The little man enjoyed his cousins and long stroller naps walking on the beach in Santa Monica.

Thought I would share my love of the Pacifier clip.  Now let me start by saying I was not into giving Sonny a pacifier at first.  I thought it was not natural blah blah blah.  That went out the window when I realized my kid is a sucker.  So unless I was ready to breastfeed all day/night I was prepared to have him use one.  I had yet to see any clips I liked that were just a simple way to make sure the damn thing does not fall on the ground every two seconds.

I think I literally Googled "pacifier clips" and came across the site Baby Bintz
They sell some elaborate ones with beads but also carry simple pieces of ribbon (and yes if I had the time I am sure I could make these).  But, instead I turn to the all powerful and mighty Internet to help me.

Hope your 2012 is off to a good start.  I personally am glad they caught the balding yet has a ponytail (please explain??) man starting car fires all over my neighborhood.

Take off!

I know... I can be a horrible blogger. Where have I been??
Well, you try to blog with a family of five and your parents all at your house! While they are on their way back to the snowy east coast I am sitting here in rainy LA just relaxing.

I caught this picture of Rachel Bilson (she is one of my favorite fashion gals) perfectly dressed to hightail it out of the Los Angeles. Love that she is rocking the Jansport backpack. Would love to know where her jeans are from? Anyone?

Holiday Help

Sorry I have been an absent blogger...
Really I am ...lots and lots of stuff going on.

Here is the deal. Most of my family is coming into town this week.
That's a family of 5 (which consists of a two year old, five year old and seven year old) and my parents. All staying at our house for a few days. They are all from the East coast which means a three hour time change and really early mornings at our casa.

Kids jumping on beds, waffles being made and lots of laughter. I think my french press and Stumptown coffee are going to help me (and my husband) make it through those nice sweet family moments.

Oh boy!!

Holiday Party

Wow...last night we had our staff holiday party at our house!! and I am happy to report we are all still alive and our house still standing. Got the husband and I drinks from Coffee Bean this morning and our now on the clean up.

Pizza mixed with booze mixed with our living room turned into a dance floor. Loved it. A proud shout out to our staff at Animal who really are some of the best in the business.

Things to note:
Fire pits are AWESOME.
Heat lamps are AWESOME.
You can never buy enough cool chairs to place around your house. They will one day come in handy.

More tomorrow....but right now I have to get pizza boxes in the recycle bin and put the couch back!

Better late then never!!! I just found out about this site which is a collaboration between stylist Cher Coulter and actress Kate Bosworth. It has been featured in C magazine, blackbook and instyle. They design costume jewelry and send it to you for a $29.99 monthly fee. It sounds really interesting for people who want to change up their jewels or want to have that celeb stylist access.

The website is great. You take a free quiz to decide your style profile. The computer generates what jewels they "assume" you will like. If you don't dig their monthly selection you can skip it and not pay the fee.

One of my choices for the month was these gold and diamond Pharaoh bracelets. They give you a little video describing them and suggest ways to wear them. I think that is super smart.

Maybe a cute Hanukkah present? Tomorrow's the first night!
